Douglas Arrison - Founder/CEO DASolar

Douglas Arrison

Doug studied Economics (Bachelors) and Computer Science (Masters) at Boston University.  Early jobs in the software and marketing research industries (IRI) saw him in both technical and sales roles. He later turned to entrepreneurial pursuits in online video and consumer goods (online marketing) - before starting DASolar in 2008. Creating DASolar has been an opportunity for Doug to combine his education and business experience with his boyhood interest in solar energy and a love for the outdoors.

In his free time, Doug takes full advantage of Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountains to ski and hike - with occasional knee-crushing forays to Yosemite and beyond.

William built his own gaming computer running LINUX and manages the servers upon which he and his friends apply their boundless creativity playing games like Minecraft.  His early Youtube art features videos of his pets and travels.

He also works as a math tutor for younger students and worked last year at the local tennis center - and this year as a lifeguard at the town pool.  He skis and hikes the mountains of Tahoe and likes to swim in the bracing waters of the lake.
