Wind Turbine Leads

Wind Turbine Installation

Our wind turbine installation leads are sourced primarily from location specific pages on our www.dasolar.com website. We have optimized our website to rank well in the search engines for terms relating to "wind turbine installation", "wind turbine installers" and other similar terms. In general, we have optimized our site to appeal to prospects looking to purchase and install a wind turbine, as opposed to simply learning about the technology. Focusing on keywords like "installation" and "incentives" yields buyers that are far along the sales funnel.

Incentive information

We have an entire section of our site dedicated to incentives related to wind turbines (and other renewable energy types). These incentive pages generate search engine rankings (and leads) for prospects far down the purchase funnel (in buying mode). Our incentive page information is derived from an extensive, well maintained, government database. Incentives include rebates, grants, tax credits and other money saving opportunities at the national, state, local and utility level. Our Incentive Alerts service leverages this incentive data and is another great source of leads.

Wind Turbines - Qualification - Wind speed/Lot size

Obviously, wind speed and lot size are hugely important qualification factors for wind turbine installation. We accomplish this in three ways:

  • Wind speed/Lot size - our systems automatically update each new lead with the average wind speed at the 100 ft hub height.  The data is brought in via API from our wind data partner 3Tier.  We also update each lead with the square footage (acreage) of the property.  When purchasing wind turbine installation leads you may specify the  desired lot size and wind speed for your area and turbine type.
  • Human verification - humans look at Bing, Google and Zillow maps to check the location and identify any discrepancies in lot size, obstructions or the number and size of trees that may affect wind speeds and installation.
  • Prospect re-verification via email - the prospect is emailed maps of their property - they electronically verify location and property issues using a form that updates the lead automatically.

Double Opt-in

The combination of these two qualification methods assures both the location and the fitness of the property for a wind turbine. It also, very importantly, serves as a "double opt-in" by the prospect - demonstrating (for the second time) their desire to be contacted about a wind turbine.
